Originally from the Dayton area, Mr. Murray has been serving as the City’s Director of Planning & Economic Development since October 2006. Mr. Murray was able to bring over 15 years of diverse perspectives from both the private and public sectors to his role with the City. In addition to his work with CityWide Development Corp, the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Cincinnati; Mr. Murray’s leadership with organizations such as Fifth Third Bank, Studio Vertu, and Ag-Renu are equally valuable to meeting the responsibilities of his position with the City of Riverside.
A graduate of Wright State University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies, Mr. Murray is also a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional through The National Development Council.

The City of Riverside has hired Jo Lease as their new Leasing Agent & Property Manager for the Wright Point Office Park. Jo brings numerous years for leasing and commercial property management experience to the buildings. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Jo holds a degree in Business Management. Jo holds the Certified Property Manager designation (CPM®) from the Institute of Real Estate Management and is a veteran of the US Navy where he served his country aboard ship.
The Department of Planning & Economic Development is responsible for improving the economic well-being and quality of life for the residents of Riverside. Economic Development focuses on the recruitment of businesses, assists with the expansion or retention of existing business operations and aids in the start-up of new businesses in the City of Riverside. Together the focus of the Department functions to maintain a healthy and sustainable community and a strong environment for businesses to operate and develop.
